Use the flash cards and review questions to master key concepts. In the Review section, pay attention to the rationale behind the right answer – this is where you’ll get important details that will make you a better test-taker and a better AEMT.
Once you’re doing well with the review questions, take one of the NREMT-style, 135-question, timed practice exams in the Testing section. You need to experience a full-length, timed exam at least once before taking the National Registry exam. It helps prepare you mentally for what a test that long and that challenging will feel like.
The practice tests in AEMT Review will also give you a detailed rationale for each question. As you read each rationale, make sure you identify what clues you overlooked or what terms you didn’t understand that would have helped you get the question right.
