Kennebunk, Maine – Limmer Education announces the release of its STEMI Ready training program to enhance clinical interpretation of 12-lead ECGs by paramedics, nurses and physicians.
“The cardiac care system begins with EMTs and paramedics in the field and continues through to the cath lab.” Says Limmer Education Founder and paramedic Dan Limmer. “Interpretation is a vital skill at all levels and our app is an excellent resource.”
Containing 200 clinically acquired 12-lead ECGs and a quiz on 12-lead interpretation concepts, STEMI Ready was created by leading EMS ECG expert Tom Bouthillet. Bouthillet also runs the popular ems12lead.com web site and blog.
Twenty of the ECGs are in a “Cath Lab Challenge” section designed to simulate actual cath lab activation scenarios.
Limmer Education’s STEMI Ready program provides information to easily allow EMS agencies to request funding assistance from their local STEMI Center, regional hospital or flight service. Discounts for bulk purchases are available.
“This app is accurate, inexpensive and indispensable training,” notes Limmer Education CEO Stephanie Limmer. “We have created several programs to help get this app into the hands of the personnel who will benefit most from the training.”
Hospitals, cardiology groups and cardiac equipment manufacturers can purchase apps from Limmer Education and distribute STEMI Ready for outreach for less than traditional give-away items. The apps are custom branded for maximum impact.
“Medicine is a mobile profession,” says Stephanie Limmer. “Whether in the field or in the hospital our cross-platform technology allows users to learn on their phone, tablet or desktop computer.”
Those interested in the STEMI Ready program can purchase it for $9.99 at LC-Ready or contact Limmer Education for bulk pricing discounts: stemiready@limmereducation.com or 207-482-0622.
